All the meat we serve at The Guru Fine Indian Cuisine is halal. We have cooked authentic North Indian food at 5705 Victoria Avenue, at the corner of Clifton Hill, since 2003.
Halal Favourites
- Chicken curries ($18): Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma, Chicken Curry and Chicken Vindaloo
- Lamb and goat ($20): Lamb Curry, Nawabi Lamb, Kadai Lamb, Lamb Vindaloo, Lamb Hara Masala and Goat Curry
- From the charcoal tandoor: Tandoori Chicken, half ($15), Chicken Tikka ($17), Chicken Malai Tikka ($17), Chicken Achari Tikka ($17) and Seekh Kebab ($17)
- Biryani: Chicken, Lamb or Goat Biryani ($20) and Shrimp Biryani ($21)
- Guru Platters ($50): chicken or lamb platters for two, with curry, naan and rice
We also serve seafood dishes, including Fish Curry ($20) and Shrimp Curry ($21), and a large vegetarian menu with Jain options.

Non-alcoholic choices include lassis, masala chai, fresh lime soda, juices and non-alcoholic versions of our cocktails. We also serve wine, beer and cocktails.
